Three
trim levels are available for the new 2009 Mazdaspeed Protege, the DX
LX and ES. 2009 models are equipted with a 2.0 liter 130 horse engine
and a five speed manual with overdrive. the 2009 Mazdaspeed Protege does
have a four speed automatic transmission with overdrive but this
feature is an option.

solid assortment of other amenities one would expect from a high
trim level. Optional add-ons include leather upholstery and a power
sunroof.
